Major Achievements of the Department

1. Transforming Rural Communities through Experiential Learning and Innovation : the Department of Agricultural Extension Education at AKS University, Satna, has made a significant impact on rural development by successfully integrating academic learning with field-based extension activities.
2. The department’s most notable achievement lies in its ability to bridge the gap between agricultural research and farming communities through the implementation of the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) program across multiple villages.
3. This hands-on initiative has empowered students with real-world problem-solving skills and practical exposure, while simultaneously addressing grassroots agricultural challenges. The department’s strategic partnerships with Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), local industries, and community organizations have further strengthened its outreach and research capabilities.
4. Through Nutri-Garden projects, Participatory Rural Appraisals (PRA), Kisan Melas, and continuous capacity-building programs, the department has not only promoted sustainable agriculture but also enhanced the livelihoods and nutritional well-being of rural households.

6. Dr. Veranda Kumar Vishwakarma Head of Department presented research paper in Regional Seminar on “Recent Innovation in Agricultural Sector: Preliminary Insights and Emerging Perspectives 29-30May 2023” organized by department of Agricultural Economics , JNKVV, Jabalpur, M.P.
7. Mr Rajeev Rav Suryavanshi from the department has presented a Poster at Regional Seminar on “Recent Innovation in Agricultural Sector: Preliminary Insights and Emerging Perspectives 29-30May 2023” organized by department of Agricultural Economics, JNKVV, Jabalpur, M.P.
8. Dr Ashutosh Kumar Singh has participated in National Seminar on “National Intellectual Property Awarness Mission (NIPAM)” organized by NIPAM, New Delhi 25/03/2022.
9. Dr Ashutosh Kumar Singh completed 7 days Faculty development programme on “Practical Aspects of ICT & Online Teaching in Current Scenario” organized by RFI & CT University, Punjab from 02-11 September 2024.
10. The Ph.D. thesis of Dr Ashutosh Kumar Singh has bagged Outstanding Dissertation Award from Kamaraj Institute of Education and Research (KIER) Chennai in year 2022.
