Lab and Infrastructure in Entomology
The Entomology Laboratory is a modern, well-equipped facility designed to support research and education in insect science. It features advanced stereo and compound microscopes with digital imaging systems, a climate-controlled insect collection and preservation area, and specialized rooms for insect rearing and biocontrol experiments. To ensure a safe and clean environment, the lab maintains strict hygiene protocols. The infrastructure includes well-ventilated workspace, smart-class teaching setup, reference library, and reliable power and internet connectivity.

A fully-equipped computer lab with high-speed internet access and licensed statistical software such as STATA, R, SPSS, EViews, and GIS tools. The lab supports coursework, thesis work, econometric modeling, and advanced data analysis.

The department maintains a stock of modern survey tools, including tablets for digital data collection and socio-economic survey kits. These are used in field research, baseline surveys, and impact evaluations.

- NADEP Unit
NADEP production of FYM is also done and 4 pits of size 12X6X3 feet is available at research farm of Agronomy.
- Fooder Production Unit
20 Acres of land is allotted for fodder production where 10 acre of land is utilized for MP Chari and remaining land is used for berseem production.

- Germplasm/Seed Bank that preserves a diverse collection of plant genetic resources for future breeding programs and research for hybridization techniques, seed quality analysis, and trait selection
- Molecular Biology Lab with tools for DNA/RNA/Protein extraction, PCR, marker-assisted selection, and modern sophisticated instruments.
- Tissue Culture Lab for in vitro propagation for germplasm and genetic transformation studies.
- Research Farm for practical training, multi-location trials, and variety evaluation.
- Seed Testing Unit to ensure quality assurance and seed technology research.
