Lab and Infrastructure in Entomology
The Entomology Laboratory is a modern, well-equipped facility designed to support research and education in insect science. It features advanced stereo and compound microscopes with digital imaging systems, a climate-controlled insect collection and preservation area, and specialized rooms for insect rearing and biocontrol experiments. To ensure a safe and clean environment, the lab maintains strict hygiene protocols. The infrastructure includes well-ventilated workspace, smart-class teaching setup, reference library, and reliable power and internet connectivity.

The Department of Agricultural Economics is equipped with a range of specialized laboratories and facilities designed to support academic excellence, research innovation, and practical training. These resources are intended to enhance students’ analytical skills, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and facilitate impactful research in agricultural and rural development economics.
- Computer and Data Analysis Lab
A fully-equipped computer lab with high-speed internet access and licensed statistical software such as STATA, R, SPSS, EViews, and GIS tools. The lab supports coursework, thesis work, econometric modeling, and advanced data analysis.

The department maintains a stock of modern survey tools, including tablets for digital data collection and socio-economic survey kits. These are used in field research, baseline surveys, and impact evaluations.

The Department of Agronomy is equipped with modern facilities to support teaching, research, and outreach activities. These resources provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world practices.
- Agronomy UG and PG Lab facilities :
A well equipped lab is available in the department of Agronomy where seed and soil analysis of all kinds of soil are done. Besides chemical analysis, physico – chemical analysis are done.
- Crop Cafeteria :
2.5 acres of land has been allotted for crop cafeteria where a large number of demonstrations are also done on kharif and rabi agronomical crops.
- Experimental Research Area :
10 acres of land has been assigned at research plot where PG research trial are done on various agronomical crops.
- Organic Farming Area :
12 Acres of land is being utilized for organic production where paddy and berseem are grown on large scale.
- Vermicompost Unit :
A well established the vermicompost unit is available where heavy amount of vermicopost is prepared.
For production of heavy amount of vermicompost 50 beds having size of 6x 3×2.5 feet is available
- NADEP Unit
NADEP production of FYM is also done and 4 pits of size 12X6X3 feet is available at research farm of Agronomy.

20 Acres of land is allotted for fodder production where 10 acre of land is utilized for MP Chari and remaining land is used for berseem production.
